CIGAC 2017

CIGAC 2017 - the 5th China International General Aviation Convention is determined to be held at Xi'an, China, from August 24 to 27, 2017.

China International General Aviation Convention (CIGAC), Sanctioned by Chinese State Council in 2009, is so far the largest general aviation event of its kind in China and Xi'an is appointed as the permanent host. 

The purpose of the exhibition is to provide insights and perspectives regarding the newly emerging Chinese general aviation market, to discuss our ambitions for general aviation, to strive together in this great project, and to seek our common development.


CIGAC 2017 will feature:
Flight performance and static display of general aviation aircrafts;
— Exhibition of aviation equipment including aviation materials, avionics, GA operation, flight training, etc;
—Conferences on general aviation (GA) including the subjects: GA equipment manufacture, GA flight training, GA industrial parks, GA airports, etc;
— Presentation of investment, promotion and commercial networking opportunities;
— Signing ceremonies for major investment projects which have been finalized;
— Press conferences for dissemination of new products.

Jet Aviation Singapore Gains Chinese CAAC Mx Approval

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) granted Part 145 maintenance facility approval to Jet Aviation Singapore. The designation expands the company's maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities to support Chinese operators of Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft.

Beijing and Moscow's negotiations on joint development of a heavy-lift helicopter are expected to conclude before the end of the year.

AVIC Wins Big Aircraft Orders for 185 MA700s

Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) today announced a total of 185 orders for its new generation Modern Ark 700 (MA700) turboprop regional aircraft at a media conference held in Xi'an, marking a new milestone in the development of MA700 project.

The state-owned manufacturer on Tuesday signed purchase agreements for 185 MA700s with 11 customers at home and abroad, including Joy Air, Okay Airways, Cambodia Bayon Airlines, China Development Bank Leasing, CMB Financial Leasing, Chongqing General Aviation Financial Leasing, Poly Technologies Inc., Air Avenues, EGA Group, Hybrid Aviation and Segers Aero.
